Thursday 15th March – 6 children took part in a cross country championship at Blakelaw representing Hilton Primary School.
I felt nervous at the start of the race but when the race started I wasn’t so nervous. I came 83rd in the race out of 16o children.
I was tired at the end of the race but I did well and the others did as well Kieran Patterson came 10th Dean Bell came 77th Scott Alison came 154th.
We all done well at the cross country we had A gret time.

Congratulations to you all. It is great to participate in any sporting event and an honour to represent your school. It sounds like you all put in a huge effort and you should be very proud of your achievements.

Wow! I hope that you enjoyed running in the cross country race. Being the 83rd person is fantastic especially out of 160 children who managed to get into the cross country team. Only the people who run the fastest can get into the team.

Wow it sounds like you had a great time at your cross country race. I also go to the cross country races and join in, and I come first out of the year 5 and 6 girls. When I always finnish the race sometimes I feel tired, and sometimes i’m not tired. Well Done and keep up the great running in the cross country races!

Wow! that looks like a very intresting day. I can’t belive you came 83rd out of a staggering 160 poeople. Well done. Our school entred that race and we came 1st. I hope that you enjoyed running in the cross country race you must be fast to get into the team. Keep it up.

I think your report is soooo good but maybe just check a few of your spellings like great and you have wrote it like gret. Did you proofread your work?
